By filling out this registration form you will have access to the entire Social Capital Community Benchmark Survey, 2000 dataset except for 13 geographically sensitive fields (like zip code, 1990 and 2000 census tract and census block, etc.). If you require these fields as well, you are required to download and complete a Confidentiality Agreement attesting to your need for these fields and the manner in which you will safeguard the data. Once the completed agreement has been received by the Roper Center, it will take 2-3 days to be processed. There is a charge for the restricted fields, please contact Marilyn Milliken for more information at (860)486-4440 or by email at marilyn@ropercenter.uconn.edu. 1. When using the data in publications, I will acknowledge the principal investigator and original collector of the data in the Social Capital Community Benchmark Survey, 2000 and the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research Data Archive (e.g., The Social Capital Community Benchmark Survey, 2000 data used in this publication were collected by Professor Robert D. Putnam of the Saguaro Seminar Civic Engagement in America, a project of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and numerous community foundations nation-wide, and made available through the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research).
2. I acknowledge that the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research Data Archive was established to preserve data, to improve access and increase the use of data, and to allow comparisons across these data. I will therefore make responsible use of all data, and documentation obtained from the Roper Center Data Archive.
3. I acknowledge that the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research Data Archive, and all parties associated with this Data Archive (including the principal investigator), offer the data and documentation "as is" with no warranty and assume no legal liability or responsibility for the completeness or usefulness of the data.
